Eye Candy with a Twist

Currently there is an exhibit by the Art Quilters Unlimited guild of Ft. Myers at the Cape Coral, FL library, in SW Cape, just off Mohawk Parkway. It is thought provoking, beautiful and somewhat disturbing. The title of the exhibit is ‘Resist’. Participants created fiber work with a message about resisting in some way. I think you’ll find these pieces amazing. My apologies to members whose names did not get in the pictures.

Art Quilters Unlimited is a celebrating its 15th year . Approximately 75 member fiber artists create, experiment, encourage, and support fiber media of all kinds. While we particularly seem to create quilts and wall hangings, in no way are they the traditional kind. I encourage you to come to a meeting if you are in the Ft. Myers area. Everyone is welcome.
